Class 2 Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic regulations while ensuring timely deliveries. Experience with flatbed driving is preferred, as well as a valid commercial driving licence. Pay Structure: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour Responsibilities Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries. Experience Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is highly desirable. A valid commercial driving licence (CE or equivalent) is required. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
