Company and Job Description: A dynamic and fast-growing company in the manufacturing and distribution sector is looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Logistics to set up and lead a new logistics department. This is your chance to build systems from the ground up, manage a small existing team, and create a professional logistics function that supports the companys ambitious growth plans both locally and cross-border. Key Responsibilities: Design and establish the full logistics function: inventory, warehousing, local deliveries, and exports. Take ownership of four storerooms at various locations, building a centralized and streamlined operation. Oversee and improve inventory control, warehouse organization, and stock visibility. Manage and support a team of 3 staff (2 drivers and 1 storeman). Coordinate cross-border shipments, ensuring smooth customs and delivery processes. Optimize last-mile delivery, route planning, and scheduling. Introduce or improve systems, SOPs, and reporting to monitor logistics KPIs and reduce costs. Job Experience & Skills Required: A relevant qualification in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations (Diploma or Degree preferred). 58 years experience in logistics, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Proven ability to set up or improve logistics functions in a hands-on environment. Knowledge of cross-border logistics and customs processes. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills youre comfortable both on the floor and in strategy meetings. Proficiency in Excel; experience with logistics or inventory software is a bonus.
