TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21201! Pay Information $2,401 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: RN - Cardiac ICU required. Certified in BLS, CPI, and ACLS. Competent with Impella, IABP, PA Swan catheters, and LVADs. Experience with CRRT, titration and management of inotropes, vasopressors, anticoagulation, analgesia, insulin, Lasix, and sedation. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Modified time may be necessary. Patient age group is adults. Daily census is approximately 10. Unit supports interdisciplinary functions such as physical therapy and respiratory services. Patient diagnoses include cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, and acute stroke management. Special procedures performed in the unit include bedside line insertion and intubation. Special equipment used includes Impella, VAD, IABP, CRRT, and ventilators. Candidates must float within the facility without restrictions. Two satisfactory professional references are needed. Candidates must reside 50 miles or more from the facility. Travelers are allowed one major holiday off during the winter season.
