HGV1 tramper

Job Overview Surecall are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Trampers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all driving regulations. Duties: Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, primarily flatbed lorries, for long-distance transportation of goods. Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as per company policy. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road. Qualifications : Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence with a clean driving record. Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities and logistics operations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights away from home as required.
