Local Housing Manager

Your new company Are you an experienced housing professional with a passion for supporting older people to live independently? We're seeking a confident and compassionateLocal Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a retirement living scheme for a 10-week temporary assignment. Your new role Key Responsibilities: Ensure health & safety and compliance checks are completed and recorded Manage repairs, voids, lettings, and contractor relationships Support residents with tenancy sustainment and wellbeing Respond to anti-social behaviour and complaints appropriately Promote social inclusion through activities and community partnerships Maintain accurate records and support residents with benefit entitlements What you'll need to succeed Experience in housing, support, or community-based roles Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive, resident-focused approach ICT proficiency and ability to manage multiple priorities Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and professional boundaries What you'll get in return £17.70 per hour 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment Based near Minehead Enhanced DBS required What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
