7.5T Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to operate various contracts throughout Lanarkshire. The ideal candidates will possess a valid driving licence for 7.5 tonne vehicles and have a strong background in commercial driving, particularly in delivery operations. This role involves delivering goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the transportation of goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients. Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly. Requirements Valid 7.5 tonne driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably with taillift vehicles. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance requirements for commercial driving. Must be used to heavy lifting. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
