ALN Teaching Assistant

Academics Ltd is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic ALN Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in and around Cwmbran. We are a well-established education recruitment agency working with a wide network of schools across South Wales. About the Role: Provide tailored support to pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis, including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs. Work collaboratively with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver personalised learning plans. Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Support pupils' academic and social development while promoting independence and engagement. Requirements: Experience working with children, preferably within school or ALN environments. A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential. An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Academics). What We Offer: Competitive daily rates: £90 - £100 per day (including holiday pay).
