QA Technician

pstrongWe are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to join our Bromborough Technical Team./strong/ppstrongWorking Hours: 5 days out of 6 days - 42.5 hours per week - Day Shift/strong/ppThe purpose of the role is to ensure that all products meet integrity and specification requirements./ppstrongYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:/strong /pul liEnsure that one-page specs for products are on the line prior to start up/li liResponsible for changing the threshold on metal detectors. /li liResponsible for conducting fat tests for the Mince line only. /li liConducting various pre and postproduction checks, including Gas, average weight, metal detector, finish product, pre-despatch and despatch /li liDaily calibration checks of probes /li liResponsible for taking lab samples and conducting meat content analysis. /li liChecking labels for accuracy against specification and product, including conducting double check /li liConducting Retail pack tare checks on catch weights /li liConducting scale verification /li liT2 chart (check scale is running average weight) /li liCompleting random checks on lines to see if any old scan labels have been left. /li liMachine Mind including labellers and Sealpac. /li/ulpstrongWhat We bring to the table:/strong/ppAs an international organisation, we pride ourselves on creating high quality food and exceed many recognised industry standards.
