Construction Solicitor Legal 500 Firm | Central London An award-winning Legal 500 firm based in Central London is looking to recruit a talented Construction Solicitor to join its thriving team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lawyer with a passion for non-contentious construction law , while also gaining exposure to contentious matters within a dynamic and supportive environment. The Role: You’ll play a key role in advising a broad client base—including developers, contractors, funders and consultants—on a wide range of non-contentious construction matters . The team is involved in high-profile projects in the UK and internationally across sectors such as high value residential development, luxury retail, student accommodation and mixed use developments. Your Focus Will Include: Non-Contentious Work Drafting and negotiating JCT, NEC and bespoke construction contracts Advising on development agreements, joint ventures and procurement strategies Structuring projects and managing risk Supporting clients through funding arrangements and delivery models Contentious Work (as needed) Assisting with disputes including delay, disruption and defects claims Supporting on professional negligence and adjudication matters You’ll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship to develop your expertise across both advisory and dispute resolution work. About You: UK-qualified Solicitor with 4-8 years’ PQE Strong experience in non-contentious construction law Interest or exposure to contentious matters is a plus Excellent drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills Background from a respected Central London or leading regional firm What’s On Offer?
