HGV Shunter Temp to Perm Opportunity Location: South Normanton, DE55. Start Time: 12:15 Finish Time: 21:30 Rota: Monday to Friday About the Role Were currently recruiting a reliable and experienced HGV Shunter to join a busy logistics operation. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering long-term stability for the right candidate. Youll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of HGV vehicles and trailors around the yard, across two sites and between loading bays, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Shunting HGV vehicles within the yard and two depots Coordinating with warehouse and transport teams to ensure timely vehicle movements Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects Adhering to all health & safety and site procedures Following all road traffic rules and regulations and driving hours. ? Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 license Minimum 2 years previous HGV Experience Maximum 6 points for minor offences Previous shunting experience preferred Good communication and teamwork skills Safety-conscious and punctual Whats on Offer Competitive hourly rate Temp-to-perm progression for the right candidate Weekly pay during temp period Monday to Friday schedule no weekends!
