This position is ideal for those who are passionate about cardiac care and have strong clinical skills. As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care in our inpatient and outpatient procedural labs, which focus on both mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and execution of a wide range of cardiac and vascular interventions. Provide pre and post-procedural care in a comprehensive program, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Collaborate effectively with cardiovascular technologists and other healthcare professionals in the Cath lab setting. Monitor patient conditions and manage moderate sedation during procedures. Utilize strong telemetry and dysrhythmia analysis skills to ensure patient safety. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience is required. Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications. Must be trained in moderate sedation. Proficient in telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation. NY RN license is mandatory. Preferred Skills: Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and other structural heart procedures. Proficient in both right and left heart hemodynamics, PCI, pericardiocentesis, and vascular interventions. Familiarity with mechanical circulatory support devices (e.g., ECMO, Impella, IABP). Previous experience in the EP lab is a plus. Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred. Work Schedule: Preference for 36 hours per week; 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts (7 am - 5:30 pm; 7 am - 7:30 am). Ability to work weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call or callback assignments as needed.
