Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Overview: Position/Specialty: RN CVICU Start Date: Next applicable orientation date (3–4 weeks out) Years of Experience Required: Minimum: 18 months ICU experience Preferred: 2 years Must have experience with both Cardiac & Neuro patients (mixed ICU) First-Timers Accepted: Yes Certifications Required: AHA BLS (must have at time of submittal) AHA ACLS (must have at time of submittal) NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Charting System: Epic (experience required at a level 3 or 4) Float Requirements: Yes – will float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition; within 20 miles) Block Scheduling: Not accommodated Locals Accepted: Yes, same rate (local radius rule applies) Pending License Accepted: No Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs for 3x12s 40 hrs for 8s/10s Special Requirements: Time-sensitive Epic modules must be completed immediately after confirmation. Facility is SMOKE FREE – all travelers must be nicotine-free (no exceptions). Must pass a Negative 10-Panel Nicotine (cotinine) drug screen . All RTO must be included at time of submission ; changes unlikely to be approved.
