Job Description Job Description Stand up Forklift Schedule-2nd Shift Monday- Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am Payrate: 20.00 hourly plus 2.00 Shift Differential Advanced knowledge of reading/interpreting schedules, pulls accurate materials/door skins and verify correct quantities & quality materials from main whose racks, assist skin saw operator in reflipping/stacking/quality inspection of skins, knowledge of material locations, takes skins to skin saw or layup specials line. Ability to maneuver lift truck safely in tight spaces and recover/return materials to racks. Advanced knowledge of SKU's, material locations, material cut requirements, and coordinating material flow to/off skin saw. Forklift knowledge and safety procedures, order tracking process, skin types, use of tape measure, and pull requirements for doors from main warehouse. Stand up Forklift operating skills to lift/pull/push materials onto forks from elevated heights - navigates throughout plant, including populated and small areas, performs safety procedures (including wearing and securing harness), read/interpret schedules/tickets, Use measuring tape - to 16th. Ability to work/maneuver at elevated heights up to 20 ft. Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip door skins (max. 50 lbs.), bending, lifting, twisting - Picking up materials and disposing as necessary. Fast-paced job, constant need to gather skins and routing to lines/skin saw, High degree of concentration and attention to detail/quality. Effective communication & Listening skills required Heights up to 20 ft and sometimes dusty.
