Overall Objectives: This role is responsible for ensuring, in an efficient and precise manner, the coordination, verification, and record keeping of incoming and outgoing work orders and items, preparing items for shipping, maintaining the flow of the department by handling clerical logistics issues, and driving duties as needed. Responsibilities: The following is just an outline and in no way limits other non-mentioned responsibilities from being added: Receive packages from different couriers and ensure the number of items and boxes is correct. Open boxes, place units in corresponding bins, perform a receiving inspection, and take pictures of all units. Forward information to be scanned into our system. Sort work orders and route all other items and/or boxes to the appropriate departments. Send Customer Service any discrepancies of work orders as received by Quality Control Deliver work orders to the specific shop for repair after Quality Control completes inspection and approval. Pack all outgoing work orders, take pictures, and include all necessary documents in the package to be shipped. Assemble and fill boxes with items that need to be shipped, following all necessary protocols. Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs. Able to complete communication with broker regarding different inbound and outbound shipments and keep the spreadsheet up to date Able to search and find cage codes in manuals Basic understanding of HTS codes Able to determine the country of origin Able to calculate and verify duties and taxes and receive confirmation, and take that information to upper management if decisions need to be made. Able to create ITNs within of CBP website Able to provide clearance to the carriers (FedEx, UPS & DHL) Check paperwork coming from Quality Control to ensure that it matches with parts to be shipped and include all documents necessary in the package. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Enter all information into the company system as needed, including opening work orders, closing sales, and creating shipping documentation. Maintain effective communication with different carriers for any necessary scheduling, coordination, and shipment/delivery of packages. Assist with any other packing, receiving, shipping,g and delivering tasks and processes as assigned. Will be required to drive company vehicles. Comply with established Company policies and procedures. Performs any other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Required Qualifications include: High school Diploma or GED certification. Proficiency in Excel and other software programs. Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds unassisted and up to 75 pounds assisted. Hazmat Certified. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable. Must be able to drive company vehicles.
