The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in MRI imaging and a passion for patient care. This role requires full-time availability of 40 hours per week for an initial two-week orientation period before transitioning to a solo weekend shift. Key Responsibilities: - Operate MRI machines efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and safety. - Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain procedures to alleviate any concerns. - Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment. - Document all imaging procedures while adhering to confidentiality protocols. - Collaborate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and coordinate results. - Perform patient care tasks as necessary. Requirements: - Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology. - Minimum of two years of MRI Technologist experience. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. - Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is mandatory. - Familiarity with non-contrast exams, routine musculoskeletal, neurological, spinal, and occasional body MRI procedures. - Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including day and evening shifts during the orientation phase.
