Forklift Operator

Job Description Job Description Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise or materials. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products in a safe and organized environment. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jacks, etc.) to move products and materials throughout the warehouse. Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers. Inspect equipment daily and perform basic maintenance checks. Accurately pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment. Maintain proper inventory control through the use of scanners and warehouse management systems. Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized at all times. Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including lifting, packing, and organizing materials. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution environment. Valid forklift certification (preferred or required, depending on state/company). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Good organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with inventory software, warehouse management systems, and scanners (a plus). Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Working Conditions: May require extended periods of standing, lifting, and operating equipment. Exposure to warehouse temperatures (hot/cold depending on season).
