Full-Time Year 6 Teacher - Rugby We're currently recruiting for a full-time Year 6 teacher to join a supportive and welcoming 1 form entry primary school in Rugby. This role will start at the end of November 2025 for 1 year. Depending on the successful candidate's preference, this could be a temporary position paid via Hays or paid directly via the school on a fixed-term contract. The school would ideally prefer a teacher who has experience of teaching KS2 and more importantly, SATs. Please only apply if you are looking for a full-time teaching position, has experience of teaching SATs and is able to take on the full teaching responsibilities as would a permanent member of staff, which includes attending staff meetings, report writing, completing all planning and assessments. All suitable candidates will be asked to complete a lesson observation followed by a meeting with the Head Teacher. Key Details: 5 days per week in Year 6 Full class responsibility: Planning, staff meetings, parents' evenings, and report writing Strong behaviour management is essential. Start date: November What you'll need to succeed Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so. You must have experience of teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT. Be flexible, approachable, understanding and empathetic.
