Ladieswear Buyer

dSb is working with an award winning non-fast fashion retailer who is seeking to appoint a Buyer to have ownership for their high performing Knitwear department as well as accountability for footwear and accessories. Responsibilities: Work closely with knitwear Design team to develop a market leading and commercial range. Manage the weekly buy Overseeing the critical path Manage supplier relationships Travel to Europe and Far East when required Deliver analytical plans alongside the Merchandising team Experience required: Expert knowledge in yarns, gauges and knitwear manufacturing An experienced Ladieswear Junior Buyer or entry level Buyer from a knitwear background, ideally with some experience of working in a bricks & mortar retailer Able to work with data and Excel Commercial eye and knowledge of latest and forthcoming ladieswear trends with understanding of women's garment fits.
