The Opportunity: The primary role of the Supply Chain Partner is to support the Corporate Procurement Team. Reporting to the National Manager Supply Chain Partnerships you will work within a team to deliver effective inventory management and inventory services by utilising appropriate data management systems, processes and networks (including suppliers) to investigate and solve issues in a responsive manner. The position will support the National Manager Supply Chain Partnerships in managing supplier rebates, contract negotiations and tender responses. What you will do: Ensure available products and pricing is accurate on the system and advise price issues to managers. Ensure database administration is current and accurate. Complete regular and month end reporting as required. Oversee the site stocktake / cycle count process and variance reporting Work with suppliers to identify opportunities to reduce spend on goods for both HPS and Clients Assists in the review and submission of tender requests and responses Drive and assist the new site set up processes creating new vendor accounts and supporting initial stock supply. Respond to site queries effectively and efficiently Communicate with sites when required to ensure accuracy of information and issues resolved. Action stock orders and stock transfers as required. Liaise with vendors about availability issues and substitutions. Assist with projects and other duties as required Provide input and leadership to improve work instructions, policy and procedure updates. Support and coach other team members and site Purchasing staff to complete their tasks effectively What we are looking for: Tertiary qualifications in related discipline Proven computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite and database systems (Advanced Excel skills) Understanding of pharmacy operations and processes including procurement, inventory and purchasing. Understanding of the principles of contract management High attention to detail Proven organisational and time management skills High level of oral and written communication skills Proactive, flexible and able to work autonomously Demonstrates initiative, sound problem solving abilities and solution focussed Ability to work discretely and maintain strict confidentiality Desirable: Pharmacy or medical related degree Experience in pharmaceutical procurement Experience in pharmaceutical retail merchandising Experience in tender response Benefits This is a unique opportunity to work in a company where you are valued, given the recognition you deserve and suitably rewarded for your hard work.
