An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimating Team Leader to join our team. If you are an experienced Sales Estimating Team Leader, or a senior Sales Estimator looking to grow your career, this is a great opportunity for you to join one of Queensland’s largest and most respected home builders. Reporting to our Sales Estimating Manager, you would be an integral member of our Operations team. Roles and responsibilities Assisting the Sales Estimating manager in managing team KPI’s. Reviewing the quality and accuracy of the Sales Estimating team and providing guidance Monitoring and assessing all workflow requirements Provide advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders Assess and minimise any margin erosion during the estimating phase Ensure clear and appropriate communication with head office, sales and construction staff is maintained The successful applicant will have Experience in a similar role in the Construction industry, high desirable, but not essential Minimum 3-5 years’ Sales Estimating experience with a similar high volume builder Analytical and efficient problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain a consistent and very high standard of work at all times Ability to recognise where policies and procedures are required and suggest new strategies, policies and procedures if necessary Excellent computer skills with proficiency in construction related software, Bluebeam, Databuild, Framework and Microsoft Office Products Strong leadership qualities Strong interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines Why work with us?
