Job Description
Taking care of overall Facility (Engineering and Controls) & Admin activities. Responsibilities include: Performing industrial electrical work and troubleshooting, including systems at 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC. Identifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting field-level I/O and network components, and modifying motor controls such as motor starters, VFDs, DC drives, and standard electrical components. Knowledge of Sortation systems and ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) is an advantage. Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks as per PPM schedule. Attending troubleshooting calls for corrective maintenance, service, and repair. Coordinating with vendors for warranty and AMC systems. Reading energy consumption meters. Maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems, electrical and mechanical components. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting power distribution systems, including circuits, lighting, transformers, and wiring. Working with relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders. Supporting production in a safe, customer-focused manner. Performing minor refurbishment and upgrades of building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and OPS equipment like trolleys, cages, and carts. Conducting regular checks of fire alarms and extinguishers. Maintaining, oiling, and greasing carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters. Attending to electrical works and issuing height work and hot work permits. Performing minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance. Providing daily reports on TT closures, open cases, and RCA. Updating tools inventory. Carrying out scheduled maintenance as per PPM. Managing soft services activities such as pest control, housekeeping, and scrap & garbage disposal. Handling agency staff and overseeing overall shift activities.
