Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Overview We are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of High Voltage Products to customer sites located in Italy and abroad. The candidate will operate by strictly following the health, safety & environment Hitachi Energy Standard with the aim to deliver on-time and on quality meeting customers’ expectations. Responsibilities Execute installation and commissioning of high voltage equipment at customer sites in Italy and abroad, following Hitachi Energy safety standards to deliver on-time and on quality meeting customers’ expectations. Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents. Perform tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identify technical problems and analyze through remote or on-site activity in installation and commissioning, site acceptance testing, routine maintenance, oil treatment etc. Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to customer order and expectation. Maintain a good relationship with customers. Coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for installation and commissioning activities. Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed. Troubleshoot simple equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future. Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service. Qualifications Good knowledge of both Italian and English. Experience in a similar role inside High Voltage Products field is considered a plus. Ability to work independently and coordinate field technicians. Flexibility along with problem-solving abilities. Availability to travel worldwide (90-100%).
