Licensed Insurance Customer Service

Farmers Insurance Group, a leading American insurer dedicated to serving the needs of individuals, families, and small businesses through a wide range of insurance and financial services products, is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with inquiries, and providing comprehensive support and solutions related to automobile, home, and small business insurance products. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding various insurance products and services Provide accurate information about products, policies, and coverage details to clients and potential clients Assist in the processing of insurance applications and modifications to existing policies Collaborate with insurance agents and underwriters to facilitate communication and effective customer service Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, comments, and complaints, and actions taken Resolve customer issues with professionalism and patience, forwarding complex issues to senior staff as needed Support policyholders in the claims process, providing timely updates and ensuring that their needs are met Help in retaining customers by explaining the benefits and value of insurance renewals as well as identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other customer relationship management (CRM) software Ability to understand and communicate complex insurance terminology and concepts Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
