We are a leading office furniture installation company seeking a skilled and licensed driver with experience in cargo transportation. Your role will be crucial in ensuring timely and safe delivery of office furniture to our clients. Responsibilities: Safely operate a 26-foot truck to transport and deliver office furniture to various locations. Efficiently load and unload cargo while ensuring the protection of items from damage during transit. Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations to guarantee a secure working environment. Collaborate with the installation team to coordinate delivery schedules and provide excellent customer service. Maintain accurate and organized records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Qualifications: Valid and clean Class CDL driver's license with a proven track record of safe driving. Previous experience in cargo transportation, preferably with expertise in handling office furniture. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work on-call with variable weekly hours (20-40 hours). Compensation: Pay will be based on experience. Opportunities for overtime pay may be available. Additional benefits may be offered based on performance and commitment.
