Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Moab, Utah. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Responsibilities: Operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue. Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition. Ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure throughout. Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. Evaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results. Maintain detailed patient records and documentation. Stay up-to-date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices. May assist physicians during diagnostic procedures (depending on the facility). Promote breast health awareness by educating patients on the importance of regular screenings. Minimum requirements: Must be ARRT registered. Mammography license or certification required. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in mammography is ideal. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely. Compassionate and patient demeanor to ensure a comfortable experience for patients undergoing potentially anxiety-provoking procedures. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR). Willingness to modify schedule to help accommodate time off requests. Must be reliable, punctual, and emotionally mature. Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral, written, and listening). Ability to work in a confidential manner. Must enjoy working as part of a small team. Must possess high levels of self-motivation and -management. Must possess a positive attitude. Must by flexible and accept other responsibilities that may be assigned. Must be willing to relocate to Moab, if living outside the area. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
