Job Description Job Description Contract Sales Representative – Advertising (Golf Scorecards) Company: Golf Skor Position Type: Independent Contractor (Straight Commission) Location: Eastern United States (travel required) About the Role Golf Skor is seeking highly motivated Contract Sales Representatives to sell advertising space on custom golf scorecards distributed at golf courses throughout the Eastern United States. This is a commission-only sales opportunity ideal for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. As a representative, you will travel to assigned regions, meet with local business owners, and secure advertising placements that promote their brand to golfers in their community. You will be responsible for developing new accounts and renewing existing advertisers. Responsibilities Prospect, identify, and secure new advertisers through cold calls, in-person meetings, and referrals. Travel to golf courses and the surrounding towns/markets to connect with potential advertisers. Renew and maintain relationships with Golf Courses and existing advertisers, ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat business. Present the value of Golf Skor scorecard advertising with confidence and professionalism. Track sales activity, submit orders, and meet agreed-upon sales targets. Represent Golf Skor positively and professionally within each local community. Requirements Proven sales experience (advertising, media, or business-to-business preferred). Self-motivated and results-driven; able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Eastern United States. Reliable transportation and ability to manage travel schedule effectively.
