Job Description Job Description Are you a reliable, hands-on worker with a background in carpentry or metalwork? We’re hiring a Metal Bending & Assembly Technician to join a busy production team In this role, you’ll help shape, attach, and prepare materials for custom builds—working with wood, tools, machines, and a team that values precision and accountability. Responsibilities: Assist with bending and forming metal components used in custom signage Remove protective plastic film from completed letter faces and parts Apply caulking to the inside of letters to seal and finish the structure Use an air tool to insert rivetnuts into assembled pieces Use hand tools to attach and frame parts according to job specs Follow visual diagrams and basic plans to assemble letters accurately Help with crating and prepping finished goods for outbound shipping Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support general warehouse or shop tasks as needed Requirements: Previous experience in carpentry, sheet metal, or hands-on assembly work Comfortable using hand tools, saws, drills, or bending equipment Strong attention to detail and a self-starting attitude Good attendance and reliable transportation required Ability to lift and handle materials throughout the shift Must be able to follow instructions in English (verbal and written) Must be comfortable working in a hot environment Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6 AM – 5 PM Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18/Hourly Location: San Antonio, TX 78222 ABOUT US: FirstOption Workforce Solutions exists to help people build better lives and we sincerely appreciate your interest in joining our team.
