Job Description Job Description Salary: $65,000-$70,000 Job Title: HVAC Technician Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ventilation, and thermostats. Perform preventative maintenance according to seasonal schedules and manufacturer specifications. Install HVAC systems and components in new or renovated units as needed. Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using digital work order systems. Ensure systems comply with local, state, and federal codes and standards. Work closely with the property management and maintenance team to ensure timely service and minimize tenant disruptions. Provide recommendations for energy-saving upgrades and equipment replacements. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and company vehicle. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred. EPA 608 Certification required. Minimum 35 years of HVAC experience, preferably in a residential or mixed-use property environment. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, diagnostic tools, and controls. Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
