MEP BIM Coordinator

Wozny/Barbar & Associates is a full-service consulting firm with approximately 40 employees with offices in Hanover, MA. We specialize in the design of hvac, electric, communications, security, AV, heating, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and energy management systems. The firm was founded in 1988 to provide clients with multi-disciplinary engineering from the conceptual design phase through the construction administration phase. Our clients include architects, building owners, and developers with a wide array of projects from large residential complexes to university buildings, cultural centers, labs, office buildings, restaurants and warehouses. Currently our office policy is 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. We are presently seeking the following professional: MEP BIM Coordinator Candidates should have the following: · Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across all MEP trades. · Provide and manage suitable Revit templates for each MEP trade. · Establish system setups for pipes, ducts, fittings, and other elements to ensure efficient modeling and consistent project delivery. · Prepare Revit models so designers can focus on design tasks only without additional setup burdens. · Create, manage, and update a centralized Revit family library; provide families as needed to support the design team. · Conduct clash detection and coordination in Revit and Navisworks to resolve interdisciplinary conflicts. · Establish and manage schedules for equipment and system coordination across MEP trades. · Coordinate regularly with architectural and structural models; implement changes to the MEP models based on updates. · Set up views, sheets, and drawing standards for each trade, ensuring models are design ready. · Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and technical support to MEP team members to maximize efficiency with BIM tools. · Support project teams with troubleshooting, model audits, and quality assurance of BIM deliverables. Salary is based on experience.
