Assistant Accountant - Warrenpoint MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading FMCG organisation in Warrenpoint to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. The Company: A well-established, family-run FMCG manufacturer based in Warrenpoint, specialising in fresh and frozen food-to-go products. The business employs over 300 staff and supplies major retail and food service clients across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, with a multi-million-pound turnover and strong growth trajectory. The Rewards: As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will receive the following: Salary up to £32,000 On-site parking 33 holidays including stats Study support The Role: As the successful Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the following duties: Support the preparation of management reports and monthly accounts Prepare monthly and annual subsidiary accounts Assist with grant administration and compliance Ensure timely and accurate VAT and regulatory returns Support additional tasks and projects as required by the management team. The Person: The successful Assistant Accountant will meet the following criteria: Well-rounded accounts experience. Organised individual with a great eye for detail. Strong communication skills.
