Site Supervisor

About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our sites across the Midlands. Note that this role requires working away and night work. Responsibilities * Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. * Manage a team of workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. * Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. * Maintain accurate records of work performed, incidents, and personnel activities. * Address any issues or conflicts that arise among team members promptly and professionally. * Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Skills * Proven experience in a supervisory role in a Civil Engineering environment * CSCS Supervisor card and SMSTS/SSSTS * Solid understanding of Civil Engineering principles, Drainage, Earthworks and Road constructions. * Conversant with principal contractor duties and ITP Quality checks * Strong management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. * Proficient in using relevant software for reporting and record keeping.
