Purchasing Manager

Neon Search has partnered with a long-established UK manufacturer with a strong heritage, supplying specialist products across automotive, marine, industrial, and consumer markets. They are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of the purchasing function and drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and smooth supply chain operations across the business This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, motivated professional who enjoys autonomy and wants to make a real impact in a growing company. What you’ll be doing: Managing the purchasing process end-to-end. Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels across multiple warehouses/locations. Building and maintaining supplier relationships. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure smooth supply chain operations. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a purchasing role (essential). CIPS qualified (preferred). E-commerce experience beneficial but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently. Experience managing others or comfortable taking the lead when needed. Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in decision-making.
