Azure Data Architect - Contract (Outside IR35) West Mids

I am super excited to be working with an awesome Consultancy who are on the lookout for a seasonsed Data Architect to work on a high-profile transformation programme for a leading Financial Services client. As an Azure expert, you will be able to come in and undertake a full review of their current data warehouses, processes and storage. The initial part of the contract will be a discovery piece focused on information gathering, loads of stakeholder engagement, data-flow discovery and a maturity assessment. You'll be able to give a solid review of internal artefacts including data models, reports, Azure architecture diagrams and documentation. You will essentially then provide a Data strategy alongside a road-map (a sequenced plan to move from current to future state) and then recommend data principles, a data quality model and governance roles. Naturally you will have a proven track record in Data Architect with a solid understanding of Azure and data warehousing having worked on similar discovery pieces for enterprise-clients. Whilst this is an initial 10 week piece of work the expectation is that this first engagement could just be the beginning as the consultancy they will likely stay on to deliver a whole raft of recommendations on this transformation programme. You'll work alongside a cracking CTO who really knows his stuff and is incredibly passionate about solid Delivery and exceptional service to their client portfolio!
