Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a respected name in the construction industry, delivering high-quality projects with a focus on safety, compliance, and excellence. They are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead on project cost management and support the continued growth of their business. Candidates with fire protection or fire safety experience will be at an advantage, though this is not essential. Key Responsibilities: Leading the commercial management of multiple projects from tender to final account Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, valuations, and forecasts Overseeing subcontractor procurement, contracts, accounts, and payments Managing variations, claims, and change control processes Preparing and presenting detailed commercial reports to senior management Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification Requirements: Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor, with experience at a senior level Strong knowledge of cost control, estimating, and contract administration Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills Fire protection/fire safety experience is highly advantageous Ability to lead commercially on complex projects Strong communication and leadership skills Proficiency with relevant software (e.g. Excel, estimating tools) What's on Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Career development and progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment The chance to lead on high-profile projects If you're a driven and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to make an impact with a forward-thinking company, we'd love to hear from you.
