Head of Retail (Lifestyle & FMCG) - Temporary

We are looking for a temporary Head of Retail (Lifestyle and FMCG) for a big player in the e-commerce branche. As the Head of Retail (Lifestyle and FMCG) you'll be at the core of the retail operations, overseeing a commercial portfolio that includes FMCG, Fashion, Sports, Living, Personal Care, and Home Care. You'll be an integral part of both the Retailer Management Team and the Lifestyle & FMCG Division MT, where you'll help set direction, drive performance, and lead a high-performing team of managers and buyers. From negotiating with top-tier suppliers and shaping category strategies, to managing pricing, promotions, and cash flow - you'll ensure bol's assortment is competitive, profitable, and fully prepared for the retail peak: Black Friday, Sinterklaas, and Kerst. Your tasks and responsibilities are to: Lead commercial strategy across FMCG, Fashion, Sports, Living, Personal Care, and Home Care; Manage and develop a team of category managers and buyers; Oversee pricing, promotions, assortment, and margin performance; Negotiate contracts and build strong supplier relationships; Align supply chain operations to ensure product availability and delivery; Optimize stock levels, cash flow, and supplier performance; Coordinate with marketing, content, and platform teams for peak season execution; Represent the domain in key management teams and report on performance.
