Overview Software Development Engineer, Pricing Services at Amazon — join our Global Retail Systems Development team to collaborate on innovative Competitive Monitoring solutions. You will work on distributed systems, data mining applications, and scalable web solutions that drive retail insights. You will design APIs and accessible user interfaces to enhance competitive analysis capabilities. Based in Bangalore with collaboration across Chennai and Seattle, you will help develop resilient crawling systems, data processing pipelines, and analytical tools to support informed decision-making. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience 3 years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience in building large-scale websites using JavaScript, AJAX, and HTML5 Good coding practices including unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods Good analytical abilities and design knowledge with communication skills Passion for building new products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 2 years of industry experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
