We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised Logistics Specialist for the Italian branch (for the brand Geely) to manage the logistics of vehicles, parts, and accessories in our automotive retail business. This role will ensure the efficient movement of products from suppliers to dealerships, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting the seamless operation of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive logistics, inventory management, and a strong understanding of the automotive retail sector. Responsibilities Coordinate the movement of vehicles, parts, and accessories from suppliers to dealership locations, ensuring timely deliveries and proper documentation. Monitor and manage vehicle and parts inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock tracking and avoiding stockouts or overstocking. Manage logistics documentation , including shipping invoices, delivery receipts, purchase orders, and customs paperwork for both vehicles and parts. Work closely with suppliers , transportation companies, and internal teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective deliveries and resolve any logistics-related issues. Collaborate with sales and service departments to forecast inventory needs, ensuring stock availability to meet customer demand. Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve delivery timelines and reduce operational costs. Support the warehouse team in receiving, storing, and managing parts inventory in accordance with best practices and company standards. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory management, ideally within the automotive retail sector. Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle logistics, and the automotive retail market. Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address logistics challenges quickly and efficiently. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and timeliness in inventory management and deliveries. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, service, and warehouse teams. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to transportation and logistics operations. Analytical skills for forecasting, inventory management, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
