The risk categories are interest rate risk, funding and liquidity risk, treasury risk, and customer behavior (modeling) risk. ING Italy's Head of Market Risk Management is part of the risk domain headed by the ING Italy CRO. The role involves being a member of the local Risk Management team with a functional reporting line at the global level to the Head of Banking Risk (Financial Risk department). Key responsibilities include: Ownership of local asset and liability models Ownership of local IRRBB models Monitoring all allocated limits, including Treasury, IRRBB, and liquidity limits Liquidity risk reporting & analysis, including Liquidity Crisis Management and stress testing Risk management of Securitization Management of local activities related to Market Risk Capital Identification and assessment of ALM risk Advising the Exco on new or revised products as part of the PARP process Participation in ALCO, pricing, and Cpac committees, including preparing ALCO reports Monthly risk transfer of open positions to Bank Treasury Managing a team of high-value specialists, requiring both management and technical expertise in financial risk Education: Academic or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields Work experience & skills: Minimum 10 years in Financial Risk, managerial experience preferred Strong background in banking, analytical skills, and risk management best practices Proficiency in English; Italian is an advantage Other competencies: Problem solving, quality focus, influencing, relationship building, results-driven, positive attitude, change management, decision making, motivation Location: Milan, Italy, with flexible remote work options under the Super Flexible Smart Working approach.
