We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer (Emilia Romagna) . This role involves conducting service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. The engineer diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solutions. Complex issues are escalated to higher technical support or quality systems. The role may also involve developing new customer service or product agreements. The engineer responds to support calls within an assigned territory and demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication, honesty, and empathy are essential when interacting with customers, colleagues, and collaborators. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical customer support and on-site assistance. Escalate complex issues to higher technical support levels. Respond to customer support calls within the assigned territory. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical Secondary School Diploma in Biotech/Electronics. Proficiency in English is mandatory. At least 5 years of experience in technical service. Open to travel; a valid driving license is mandatory. Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Italian. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
