The role involves conducting service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites, including electrical and mechanical testing, in accordance with maintenance contracts. The engineer diagnoses system failures and determines the most cost-effective solutions, escalating complex issues to higher technical support or quality reporting systems. The role may also involve developing new customer service or product agreements. The engineer responds to customer support calls within an assigned territory and demonstrates critical thinking and analysis to make decisions, solve problems, and implement solutions. Effective communication, listening, honesty, and empathy with customers, colleagues, and collaborators are essential. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical customer support and on-site assistance to hospital customers, including occasional weekend and overnight support. Escalate complex issues to higher technical support levels. Respond to customer support calls within the assigned territory. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or a secondary school diploma in biotech, electronics, or related fields. Open to travel within Emilia Romagna; a valid driving license is mandatory. Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Italian.
