Shoes Product Developer - Prada Linea Rossa

Overview The brand’s evolution in Milan HQ continues with the search for Product Developers experienced in the development of High-performance Sports Footwear for a new project within Prada Linea Rossa. This role translates the creative vision into high-performance products, with a strong focus on innovation in materials and manufacturing processes. They oversee the entire development cycle and coordinate the creation of prototypes and samples with external suppliers, using advanced techniques. Direct collaboration with Design team and Creative Direction ensures fast execution and full alignment with the product strategy in line with development timelines. Responsibilities Collaborate with the design team to translate creative concepts into datasheets, ensuring technical and commercial feasibility. Oversee the launch and progress phases of the creation of prototypes and samples assigned to external suppliers, managing revisions and making the necessary changes to ensure the achievement of expected quality standards within the established timelines and budget. Enter and update technical data, bill of materials (BOM), material specifications, images and product sheets in the PLM system. Interface with suppliers and pattern makers to send technical specifications, collect feedback, manage change requests and technical issues with suppliers and follow-up on deadlines. Collaborate with the Design team for the introduction of innovative materials and colours in line with market trends within the collections. Knowledge & Skills Diploma and/or Degree in Fashion, Industrial Design or equivalent; 5 years of experience in Product Development with focus on Sports/Technical Footwear within Fashion and Luxury Industry; Good command of PLM systems and Office tools (especially Excel); Strong inclination toward innovation, with an interest in new technologies, advanced materials, and experimental design solutions; Good knowledge of English; Organisational skills, precision and detail-orientation; Familiarity with supplier network for technical/sports footwear Knowledge of main digital design tools (InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) is appreciated Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Product Management and Marketing Industries Retail Apparel and Fashion and Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry J-18808-Ljbffr
