Live Communications / Event Manager

Overview We are looking for a Live Communications / Event Manager to join Polestar on the electric journey towards a sustainable future. The role focuses on national Live Communication / Event Operations for Polestar in Italy to ensure the best customer interaction with the brand and products on a national level. You will be responsible for the development, planning and management of key customer touch points and moments with a focus on events (including B2C and B2B), test-drive activities, internal fleet management and partner management. This role is part of the Polestar Italy Marketing department and will be based at our Polestar office in Milan, Italy. The position reports to the Italian Head of Marketing. We support flexible hours and some remote work days as needed and encourage empowerment. What you'll do Plan and execute event projects to bring defined target audiences closer to the Polestar brand, driving awareness, creating excitement, generating qualified leads and achieving commercial goals. Support appearances at conferences and events on national and regional scales, test-drive and launch events (e.g., in our retail Spaces in Italy), and sponsoring appearances. Lead integrated full-year event planning, supporting the annual marketing plan from idea generation and conceptualization to organization, execution, documentation and analysis. Support the PR department with press and influencer activities, developing and executing creative event concepts to drive media attention. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align plans and ensure maximum efficiency and impact of all activities. Evaluate technology and event solutions to improve the user experience (e.g., technologies like AR, VR). Build, maintain and improve internal car management tracking and act as the main point of contact for internal car fleet planning. Manage budgets in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Head of PR. Who you are At least 2 years of experience in event management or a similar role. Strong cross-functional knowledge and the ability to lead multi-stakeholder projects (e.g., agencies, regional marketing, partners). Understanding of information systems, technical developments for events and database operations. Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus. You are creative, proactive with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of setting up events with clear KPIs and objectives. An understanding of the automotive industry is a plus.
