Pay Information $240 to $280 per hour About The Position California Burn Surgery - License Support Available A unique locum tenens opportunity for a Burn Surgeon is now available in California. This ongoing assignment offers both stability and support for the right physician looking for a long-term role with an established team. Highlights License sponsorship offered for qualified candidates. Long-term, 6-month assignment with options to extend. Travel and lodging provided for the duration of the coverage. Malpractice insurance included. Practice Setting Coverage needed for both inpatient and outpatient burn units. Work within a 15-bed unit. Collaborate with 2 burn surgeons and a dedicated NP. Schedule Consistent interim need for 7-14 shifts per month. Mix of scheduled clinical shifts and 24-hour call shifts. Coverage begins this fall with ongoing monthly needs. Procedures and Cases Focus on adult inpatient burn surgery cases. Handle admissions, consults, and rounding. Requirements Board Certified in Surgery. ACGME certified Fellowship in Burn Surgery. Must hold or be willing to obtain a California license. Active BLS and DEA certifications. Credentialing Requirements The credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
