Senior Project Manager Glasgow | Financial Services | Large-Scale Change Programme Our client, a leading financial services organisation based in Glasgow, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team and play a key role in shaping the delivery of complex, high-impact programmes. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, managing projects that are critical to the business and its customers. With a strong focus on customer service and digital solutions, you’ll collaborate across in-house and third-party IT capabilities to deliver change that makes a tangible difference. This role offers the chance to influence at senior levels, lead people through transformation, and help shape the future of investment and pensions services. What You’ll Bring 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager in financial services, ideally with exposure to pensions, ISAs, and investment products . Experience of managing multiple Project Managers with an emphasis on their development and growth plans for the future. Proven track record delivering customer-facing digital solutions through in-house and third-party technology. Skilled in both waterfall and agile methodologies, with a pragmatic “best approach” mindset. Recognised leadership ability: able to influence, motivate and develop teams across IT and business functions. Outstanding collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and build trusted relationships. Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical updates into clear action plans for technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to propose solutions, assess risks, and prioritise effectively. Proficiency in MS applications (SharePoint, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio); JIRA experience would be a plus. Your Experience Includes Leading programme and project initiation and mobilisation. Developing and executing project plans, engaging stakeholders across the enterprise. Embedding governance that reduces risk and optimises benefits across planning, RAID, financials, readiness, and change control. Delivering crystal-clear reporting to leadership and stakeholders. Growing enterprise change capability through developing others.
