Job Description This professional will be part of the Process Innovation Team, that plays a transformative role in defining and deploying Samsung's Logistics Strategy for Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Miami) for Finished Goods (all product lines) and Spare Parts operations. Key programs to be supported by this position include: Long-Term Capacity Planning: Process Implementation and improvement, Logistics Network Design, Warehouse Infrastructure (including automation projects), Transportation Modes, etc. Cost Efficiency Program: Lead analysis to identify new opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and cost savings (productivity increases for warehouse handling and transportation, warehouse storage efficiency, lead time reductions, LSP management, etc.). Process Innovation: Apply problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset to create, redesign, and implement processes and tools that support logistics operations optimization and better governance in Latin America (planning, control, analysis). Key Job Responsabilities Analyze processes and related data to support the definition and deployment Samsung’s logistics strategy for Latin America, covering Finished Goods and Spare Parts operations across key markets (Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Miami). Run sales demand and logistics capacity analysis to support “Long Term Capacity Planning” program, that involves logistics network design, warehouse infrastructure (including automation projects), and transportation modes. Lead and/or support analyses to identify new opportunities for operational efficiency improvements and cost savings, such as: Productivity increases for warehouse handling and transportation. Warehouse storage efficiency enhancements. Lead time reductions. Apply problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset to create, redesign, and implement processes and tools that optimize logistics operations and improve governance in Latin America. Focus on areas such as planning, control, and analysis to support logistics optimization. Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to gather information and carry on the necessary analysis of logistics operations process and performance across Latin America. Foster strong collaboration with Procurement, IT, and other departments to drive efficiency and innovation. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address concerns, implement solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports on logistics operations, cost-saving initiatives, and process innovations for senior management. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance logistics processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields. Experience in logistics operations and/or projects across Latin American countries (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Miami; not necessarily in all of them). Experience in network design projects and logistics capacity planning. Familiarity with logistics management software (WMS, TMS), ERP systems, and automation technologies. Ability to prepare detailed analysis, graphics and reports to support and/or make presentations senior management. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, internal and external partners. Advanced Excel proficiency. Power BI is a Plus. Fluent in English (mandatory).
