HSE Specialist

Location: Rome, Italy Contract: Fixed-term, renewable – via Randstad Italia SpA Salary: Approx. €30,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience) Language requirement: Proficiency in Italian and English is essential Randstad Italia SpA Inhouse is looking for an HSE Specialist on behalf of a prestigious multinational client based in Rome. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Manage Risks : Work with safety managers to assess and reduce risks at all company sites in Italy. Handle Incidents : Investigate and analyze accidents, near-misses, and environmental problems. You'll create plans to prevent them from happening again. Ensure Compliance : Conduct regular inspections of offices, warehouses, and other locations to make sure the company follows all quality, safety, and environmental rules. Train Staff : Educate employees on safety and environmental procedures through training sessions. Support Management Systems : Help develop and manage the company's integrated systems for quality, safety, and corporate social responsibility (CSR/ESG). Oversee Health : Assist the HR team with employee health protocols. Monitor Regulations : Stay up-to-date with all mandatory health and safety laws and handle the budget for safety-related activities. Your background Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related to HSE field. Previous work experience (1-2 years) in HSE management. Proactivity, attention to details and good communication skills. You are fluent in Italian and English, both oral and written.
