The Same Day Speed Innovation team is at the forefront of business growth and innovation in the EU. We are revolutionizing customer experience through faster delivery times and innovative fulfillment solutions. Our team operates at the crucial intersection of technology and operations, driving improvements across the entire Same Day delivery network. We are seeking a senior technical product leader capable of defining and driving product vision while navigating ambiguous problem spaces to enhance our Same Day capabilities. Position Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for solving complex and ambiguous data and metric problems. You will utilize the latest AWS Data Analytics and GenAI tools (such as Quicksight, Amazon Q, Sagemaker) to provide business metrics for senior leaders. Candidates should have a proven track record of end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision. The role requires working on complex initiatives and managing ambiguity. You will collaborate with senior leaders, product managers, DEX, finance, operations, program managers, and other data teams. Key job responsibilities: As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will/may: Be highly data-driven, resourceful, customer-obsessed, and team-oriented. Utilize the latest AWS Data Analytics and GenAI tools (such as Quicksight, Amazon Q, Sagemaker). Design, develop, and implement scalable automated processes for data extraction, processing, and evaluation. Define data-driven approaches and metrics strategies to uncover new insights. Source, manipulate, and visualize data to tell compelling business stories. Communicate strategic findings and recommendations clearly. Translate complex technical concepts into business terms and vice versa. Collaborate with engineering and data teams to develop tools and dashboards. Analyze and interpret data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar. Proficiency with industry analytics and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy) and statistical methods (t-tests, Chi-squared tests). Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, R) and SQL. Possess a master's degree or higher in a relevant technical field. Knowledge of data modeling and pipeline design. Experience with statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and data analysis skills. Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
