We are currently seeking an AI HPC Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy! The sense of “Continuity” is a megatrend in how people manage their lives and businesses. Vertiv is uniquely positioned to lead this category globally across IT, Communications, Commercial, and Industrial applications. In the growing and dynamic digital infrastructure market, with a particular focus on AI HPC edge installations, the person will seek to establish AI HPC edge leadership, grow market share, revenue, and profitability through solution management expertise, cross-functional leadership, and relentless focus on evolving customer needs and commercial enablement. What kind of work will you be doing? Manage Product Lifecycle of AI/HPC and edge physical infrastructure solutions in EMEA. Grant alignment with global IT Solutions initiatives. Analize market requirements, industry trends, norms and regulations, and competition portfolio. Lead price management by regularly defining, updating, and reviewing the price level of each solution to ensure competitiveness and align with regional goals Foster development and maintenance of IT Solutions configuration tools (e.g.: VSD, C1). Coordinate cross-BU functions, ensuring proper solutions development and management, incl. Thermal, Power, and Service. Coordinate operational functions, ensuring consistency across inventory level, lead times, pipeline creation, on-time delivery. Coordinate and support marketing, learning, and promotional activities to strengthen the brand and foster sales. Communicate effectively the IT Solutions value propositions to application engineers, sales force, Vertiv partners, and customers. Support to the sales team in evaluating opportunities and preparing data-driven business cases. Conduct primary and secondary market research, including engagement with Fortune 100 companies at the executive level. Attend trade shows, events, and meetings with customers and partners to gather direct feedback (Voice of Customer). Contribute to strategic M&A pipeline (mergers and acquisitions). Handle special price requests and related activities. What will make you successful? Master’s degree in applicable technology or business field, with demonstrated business aptitude. 5-10 years of related work experience; global product & organizational management experience a plus. Strong technical acumen; mechanical or electrical engineering a plus Experience managing data center whitespace & electrical offerings is highly valued. Familiarity with sales channels including IT Distribution, Electrical Distribution, Value Added Resellers, System Integrators, and Electrical & Mechanical Contractors is highly preferred. Familiarity with technology verticals including cloud services, communication / telecom, collocation, and enterprise highly preferred. Familiarity with server OEM & ODM market leaders, their technologies, capabilities, go-to-market routes, and strategies is highly preferred.
