Junior COMSEC Specialist

Overview Position contingent upon contract award SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Junior COMSEC Specialist to support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR). Essential Job Duties Assist in providing COMSEC support services, including safeguarding and accountability of cryptographic equipment and materials. Help maintain accountability of CCI and keying materials. Operate basic approved encryption devices under supervision. Assist in coordinating COMSEC material actions with the CAM. Help verify clearance and access for HRHs. Participate in inventories of COMSEC materials and report discrepancies. Assist in the proper handling of classified materials. Report potential COMSEC issues. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or AA with 2 years of experience, or high school with 4 years of relevant experience. An active in scope Secret security clearance. DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 723 Certs: Security or CySA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks. Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to follow processes, procedures, and direction to support client needs. Work Environment Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations. Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700 May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
