Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain Analytics Work Location: Chicago Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for: effective communication including during in-person meetings, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives. The Supply Chain Analytics Analyst is responsible for analytical and process support on key optimization and continuous improvement initiatives for the Supply Chain organization. Ways you will make a difference Responsible to lead investigations into multiple streams of data to help solve complex business issues Perform ad-hoc data mining and analysis to support organizational decisions-making Identify trends, research effect drivers, and evaluate results Conduct modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, business case development, and other operational analysis Support Supply Chain functions including planning, procurement, transportation & warehousing, and portfolio management with analytical and project-based efforts on an ad hoc basis Prepare abundant ad-hoc reports and contribute to business cases Help facilitate cross-functional communication throughout Supply Chain functions Identify, evaluate, and recommend improvements to Supply Chain business processes Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures Understand and demonstrates the Company’s core values Perform other duties as assigned Skills that will make you successful Strategic Thinking Planning and Organizing Analytical Problem Solving Time/Project Management Tolerance for Ambiguity Ability to Work Independently Experiences that will support your success 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Analytics based field Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Related Majors or Business, Finance, Engineering Demonstrated experience analyzing, data mining and reporting on large and complex datasets Demonstrated knowledge of a data visualization platform (such as Tableau or Power BI) Demonstrated Knowledge of SQL or other potential languages (Python, R, VBA etc.) are a plus Past Experience in Statistical and Operations Research-based problem solving is a plus Working knowledge of SAP S4 and/or SAP IBP is a plus High proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite What We Offer At Ferrara, we're proud to support our employees with comprehensive benefits that enhance health, financial wellness, and include paid time off (PTO).
